No! #30daysofgratitude

November 6th

We offer think of the word NO as being such a negative word, and by definition the word no is used to give a negative response. However saying no can be a positive action because having wisdom and knowing when to say no could change the course of your life.

Especially when it comes to people pleasing. If you  walk in fear and feel obligated to please others, having the courage to stay no could mean that you are saying yes to what’s more important. Knowing when to say no to things or activities that no longer serve you reminds you of who you are and whose you are; a child of grace.

Titus 2:11-12

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live live life self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

Today I am grateful for the courage to say no in order to say yes to living for God!

What are you grateful for?
